DJI Phantom mounting bracket for ocean optics sts-vis spectrometer

DJI Phantom mounting bracket for ocean optics sts-vis spectrometer

Description

This mounting bracket was made to attach an STS-VIS spectrometer to a DJI Phantom UAV. Mounting holes on the outward-facing side align with a Raspberry Pi case (https://www.thingiverse.com/thing:3420984, adapted from https://www.thingiverse.com/thing:410003). A generic mounting bracket is also included which will hold a battery in place on the other side of the drone (thus distributing the weight more or less equally). The 'feet' are printed separately with either of the two models, and should be wedged into the slots either side of the instrument cage. They can be bolted in place (drill out the existing holes as required) but this is not essential. They should provide a nice grasp of the DJI landing gear, clicking into place, and may come in useful in other designs. This work was created for use in project MONOCLE (www.monocle-h2020.eu). This project has received funding from the European Union’s Horizon 2020 research and innovation programme under grant agreement No 776480.
