Description
Use These Hold Down Clamps On A 150Mm Deep Makerbot 2X Print Bed To Minimize Warping On Large Parts. Just Add A .75 To 1 Mm Pad On The Edge Of Your Printed Part, And Snap These Onto The Bed Once The Pads Have Completed Printing. (Pausing Your Printer For A Minute Should Help.) The Clamps Hold The Edges Of The Print Down To Minimize Warping. The Extra Pads Can Then Be Snapped Off When Your Print Finishes, And Quick Exposure To The Heat From A Lighter Covers Up The Snapped Edge. The Dimensions For These Clamps Are Set For My Personal Makerbot 2X Chinese Knock-Off Printer, But Hopefully They Fit Most Makerbot Aluminum Print Beds. I Found It Best To Print Using Pla, 15% Density, And 4 Outer Skin Layers. The .Fun File Is The Source For The Clamp, Developed With Cubify.
