6 roll dry box roller + accessories.

6 roll dry box roller + accessories.

Description

This is everything you need to turn a 44 quart ziplock weather shield storage bin into a dry box. This will hold 6x standard 70mmx200mm wide rolls. Fitting the 6th is why it's somewhat oddly designed. I also designed it to fit smaller diameter rolls. Roller too complicated for your taste? I have a simpler center rod type filament holder [here](https://www.thingiverse.com/thing:3394452), but it's a pain to change rolls, which is why I designed this. **Rod holders X2**: These are custom to the mentioned box. They use 8mmx450mm rods of any type that will support the rolls. 450mm length will be the full width of the box. The holders should be flush with the walls and are embossed with their shape. You may want a TINY dab of superglue or some rubber cement between the rods and holders once everything is assembled. You may want to disassemble so don't go crazy. **Idlers X24**: The orientation of the idlers is important the flat lips must face the outside of the box/other idlers so there is minimal spacing between rolls. One must go on the outside of each rod holder. They use standard 608 bearings, which are 22mm OD and press in. Have the bearing flush with the flat lipped side of the idler. **PTFE pass through X6**: The 2x4 PTFE tubing should be hard to push through the holder. Spin it while trying to insert it. You can put a 10mm x1.5+ O ring on the head to really seal it if you would like (not necessary). **There are multiples (+- .1mm) of parts with holes for fitment in the zip, the middle size is what worked best for me.** **Hole template X1:** Aligns with the two vertical walls under the handle. 0.6 thick one should be enough but if you want thicker there is a 2mm one in zip. Align and mark one side then flip it and repeat. These holes were determined for optimal placement for a roll 68mm wide.
