FPVLR CP Antenna & Amplifier Mounting Bracket for Mavic & Spark

FPVLR CP Antenna & Amplifier Mounting Bracket for Mavic & Spark

Description

FPVLR make some awesome antenna's and radio amplifiers for many drones, including in my case for my Mavic Pro. I bought a CP antenna, 2x 2.4Ghz boosters and the required battery, but oddly, theirs no "official" mounting method for attaching these to the controller unlike one of their competitors MAXX UAV. I did a test flight with my boosters and antennas installed whilst they were strapped to the RC with an elastic band, but this clearly isn't a good solution, it felt and looked horrible!! So, this box/mount holds both of the boosters and your battery inside of it whilst attaching to the RC with the SMA connectors used as brackets. For reference its designed to hold these items: 1x https://fpvlr.com/product/mavic-pro-cp-antenna-kit/ 2x https://fpvlr.com/product/oem4wamp24/ 1x https://fpvlr.com/product/12v-dual-lead-battery-3000mah-with-charger/ You will need to have (obviously) installed SMA connectors onto you're remote to use either this mount, or the FPVLR antenna kit. YOu get the required wires to do this inside the CP antenna kit. The bracket should fit a DJI spark as its the same layout as a Mavic Pro remote. This does add a significant amount of weight to the remote which makes it top heavy and yes, there are better ways this could be designed if you had some longer cables from the amps to the remote, but I tried to stick within the constraints of what comes "in the box" with the standard FPVLR kit. If you do buy the CP antenna kit, check out my other "thing" called "FPVLR CP Antenna Washer for Mavic & Spark" for a better washer to centre the SMA connectors into the remote. Id love to see anyone else come up with a remix, or a new design which accomplishes the same thing. This design is highly functional, but not very pretty! Also included is a small wrench, this is useful for tightening up the SMA connectors onto the remote control as space is limited for fingers and you need these to be reasonably tight!
