Z Sensor Mount For Prometheus V2 Hotend
Description
Could not find a z sensor mount for the prometheus V2 hotend. So i made one. PLEASE NOTE*** This works by inserting 25mm M3 screws through from the other side of the hot end, until the ends just come through the side that will have the z sensor mount against it. Then you can put nuts on the ends and tighten down. It was the only way to limit the distance of the sensor from the hotend. Also, put 2 M3 washers on each 25mm to shorten the length of them. As seen in the pictures Use M3 Screws for both sets of holes. (M3 just barely fits through the DC42 IR Sensor) I would recommend applying some kind of heat blocker for the back of this part that goes up against the hot end. I used a High Temp Copper gasket maker from Permatex that works very well for protecting the plastic from warping, though it shouldn't be an issue anyways. Printed mine with PolyCarb from Gizmo Dorks. At 285c hotend and 110c bed.
