Flyoff Handbrake Adapter for Simulators
Description
This is an adapter to use a linear potentiometer in a chinese flyoff handbrake. You need this kind of handbrake: https://bit.ly/2DNrP8w. Its made for an RS45112A400G potentiometer and an Arduino Pro Micro. You need some M8 bolts and nuts to screw it together. I made a 3mm steel plate, screwed the handbrake on it and then clamped it under the G27 shifter. To move the potentiometer I used 2 large washers. The cylinder already has a spring in it, so it jumps back by itself. It uses the ProMicro Case from Jonas Karg on the side. This was inspired by this video https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=kv0FTpRLFMY, which also shows you how to connect the Arduino (you can use a lot thinner wires).
