NERF Mk S Adjustable Sight - “Meaker Peaker”

Description

Mk.S Sight: See also my & /u/[mrheathpants](https://www.thingiverse.com/Mrheathpants/about)' new [MHP Fauxolo sight here](https://www.thingiverse.com/thing:3541911)! I needed/wanted a fairly basic adjustable scope so I knocked this out. Uses #6 screws/bolts and glue. No support required, parts may need to be laid flat. Print one of each except the wheel, print two of those. Should be a ~30g/2hr print, depending on your settings and machine capabilities. Assembly should be as follows: - Press-fit the elevation bar into the front of the frame, sand/file/shave as req'd. - Fit the windage wheel into the opening at the rear of the frame. - If desired, bore out the four holes in the corners of the frame and rail adapter so that a piece of filament will fit into both. - Glue rail adapter to frame. - If cover is desired, check snap fit of cover over elevation piece, sand/file/shave as req'd. Optionally, glue cover to frame. Cover does add tension to elevation piece to keep it in place, and is useful as a quick peek-sight, so I recommend its use. - While waiting for glue to dry, verify free movement of windage and elevation pieces. - Screw wheels to each side of the elevation piece to desired tightness. - Screw windage wheel to frame. To install, place over picitinny rail in desired location, then drive two screws or bolts through the picitinny rail adapter into the picitinny rail plug until tight. Twisting the side knob moves the elevation bar up/down/over to tip blaster angle down/up/up (at a longer view angle), twisting the windage knob adjusts L-R tracking. Everything is loosely held in by friction and (depending on assembly methodology) screw tension. It is possible that it will loose positioning, but for my testing it was adequate and held up to abuse. Adding tension to the parts by roughing up surfaces or adding shims should be possible. Files are for personal use only, excepting those who do not have a printer and wish to commission a print from someone else. In that case, permission is granted for a print retailer to sell a single copy of this file for their normal retail rate at the request of the end user - this does not constitute permission for a print retailer to list this item for sale.
