Saisen Bako - Japanese Money Box
Description
A Saisen Bako is a large wooden coin box, commonly seen in Japanese shrines just in front of the spot where people stand to pray. The design allows for coins to be easily tossed in, but tough to get out. This is a money-box sized version of a Saisen Bako, a full size one would just be too much filament. Characters on the front say "kaiun" (開運), meaning better fortune. Pieces fit very tightly, but who knows, you might need glue! Parts (4) ===== base.stl -------- Print this upside down on the print bed, needs supports. I'd go for 20-30% infill. body.stl -------- Print this upside down on the print bed, so the angled parts are pointing upward, shouldn't need supports if you can handle overhangs well. I'd go for 20-30% infill. lid.stl ------- Print this with the slats facing downwards on the print bed, shouldn't need supports. I'd suggest going for a decent infill so the slats are strong. stopper.stl ------- Print this with widest circle touching the print bed, needs supports. I'd suggest going for a decent infill so the tabs that hold it in place are strong.
