FlexiSprite Flexible Filament Quadcopter Frame (215 mm Frame, 4-in-1 ESC)
Description
This quadcopter is an X-frame, 215 mm design, primarily inspired by various, existing HDPE frame quadcopters. This frame is intended to be printed using flexible/durable filaments (e.g. Taulman PCTPE/Nylon, generic nylon etc.). The frame is designed to accommodate a 4-in-1 ESC with a flight controller, both of which should conform to the 30.5 mm x 30.5 mm form factor. Several fastener components are required to complete the construction of this frame: 8 pieces - 20 mm M3 round standoffs (5 mm outer diameter) 4 pieces - 30 mm M3 screws 4 pieces - 15 mm M3 screws 8 pieces - 10 mm M3 screws The 30 mm screws are required in order to fasten the FPV camera surround piece and the front of the body cap to the quadcopter main body, from the top of the craft. The 15 mm screws are required to fasten the rear of the body cap to the quadcopter main body. The 10 mm screws are required to fasten main body to the body cap from the bottom of the craft. The fastener specifications are provided for the configuration in which the battery plate is situated at the top of the body cap. The battery plate can alternatively be situated beneath the main body; however, longer fasteners will be required for the bottom section in this configuration. The maximum propeller length for this 215mm quadcopter frame is 5 inches.
