Both Top and Base should be printed with supports, including bridges. Top is printed right side up, base is printed upside down. The top parts have cavities that provide space for magnets to be inserted mid-print at a z-height of 10-10.2mm. Each cavity is sized to house 2 8x3mm magents stacked atop each other. Their purpose is to hold the two halves together when you don't want to type with them spread apart. They are not strong enough to keep the halves together when carrying the keyboard. Assembly Use your soldering iron to slowly insert the brass heat-sets. Slightly in-set. If a ring of plastic wells up around the inserts on the perimeter make sure to trim them flush. Otherwise you will get a gap between the top and bottom parts. Do not over tighten the screws. Just enough to keep the top and base together securely. When soldering both sides of the Pro Micros, keep solder joint height to a minimum. It is necessary to trim the header pins and solder joints as low as possible with flush cutters. Optionally, the PCB supports RGB strips, which provide a nice effect if you pint the base in clear filament.
