Martian II Runcam Split V2 Top Mount
Description
Needed a Split V2 top mount for my long range martian because I didn't want my props or my standoffs in the picture. It's not the most beautiful thing but it works. I was going to use Bubba_Nubba design (https://www.thingiverse.com/thing:2793500) but I'm using large 3000mah and 5000mah 4S lipo packs that fill most of my top plate. To solve the issue I just designed my own mount that moved the camera forward. It has an adjustable angle, so it can tilt to 35 degree. However, with the short cable length about 35 degrees is as far as it goes. If your going to fly hard I would recommend Bubba_Nubba design, if your just aiming for long distance and cruising and not planning to crash use this mount. I feel it is strong, but with the tension on the cable at max tilt it might not be ideal for aggressive flying in a crash. Install notes: -You need to put the camera upside down so the ribbon cable is at the bottom -You need to rotate the split board so that the ribbon is closer to the camera -You need to use that black mount that came with the camera, the same one you used to mount it to the martian frame.
