Switzerland Terrain generated from SRTM GL1 data with low res border cut for easy print. Resolution at 100% is ~300m with a vertical exaggeration of 1.5 for better results. 300x190mm = ~ 1:1'000'000 Switzerland / Schweiz / Suisse / Svizzera: With only 41.285 km2 (15,940 sq mi) Switzerland is a small country. Clearly visible in the Terrain data, most of the territory is occupied by mountains/alps. The population of 8.5M is mostly squashed in the tiny flat part between the Alps and Jura mountains.
