Raspberry Pi Case for 4" HyperPixel and customizable for other displays
Description
Raspberry Pi case for 4" HyperPixel display from Pimonori https://shop.pimoroni.de/products/hyperpixel-4 or https://shop.pimoroni.com/products/hyperpixel-4 This case is customizable and could be resized to any other display sizes and heights. Its designed as a snap-in box. There are lots of customizables like thickness outer walls, thickness bottom, lcd cover thickness, thickness over glass, frame width inside display, gap between case and cover etc. The two files rpi3_4disp_base.stl and rpi3_4disp_lcd.stl are created with 1.5 mm wall thickness for printing on Formlabs or higher resolution printers. The file rpi3_4disp.form is for the PreForm Form2 printer from Formlabs. The two files rpi3_4disp_base_2.5.stl and rpi3_4disp_lcd_2.5.stl are created with thicker walls and could be printed on cheap 3d printer like on the last two pictures. My intention to create a case for the raspi 3 and the HyperPixel 4 was to make a stand alone beat counter for Pioneer CDJ's which can hooked up directly to the Ethernet of the CDJ's and read the UDP protocol of the CDJ's like in this video with a Teensy and Ableton Live (the small box in the middle of the video): www.youtube.com/watch?v=ibh8aw3B2aw&t=36s I created the case customizable to make the walls thicker because I wanted to have something resistible on stage. At current development stage I have an image which is robust to power outage and graphic display with Adafruits webIDE and beat-link-trigger.
