Re-Spooler stand and drill adaptor
Description
Had a few filament rolls moisture saturated to the point of being unusable. Got a PrintDry dehydrator and my first rigged up re-spool experience got me to make these parts to help with re-spooling filament for more optimal drying. The spool stand and roller uses a common 608 skateboard bearing. My PETG printed parts snapped together nicely. The spindle bolt has a flat side to provide bearing mount stubs a strongest print orientation. I did put a couple supports under each stub and with a light file they fit the bearings snugly. The drill adaptor uses a 1/4 carriage bolt 5-6" long and its square head insert, locks it to the spindle, so a single nut should be fine. Use drill rotation direction to keep the spool nut tight. Spool holder clamped to a bench top with a rolled up towel to add drag and I use my free hand to guide the filament onto the new spool as I control drill speed with the other hand.
