Vorpal Hexapod remix of controller base and battery door
Description
I built a Vorpal Hexapod recently. Great kit, very nice design. I didn't like the way the battery door fit. It was loose and would simply fall out. A piece of tape was one solution but I decided to remix the controller base and the battery door to have a true latching mechanism. Now the battery door closes with a reassuring "snap". I remixed the base from the Vorpal version that has the small amount of brim built in. The battery door has been lengthened by about 1mm and has the little retention arms added. The modifications to the base are the addition of dimples for the retention arms and a fillet on the edges where the latch arms pass when closing.
