Adjustable LED Mount - Petsfang Ender 3
Description
**This is an adjustable LED mount for the Petsfang cooling duct.** Using a single 13.5/13.5mm LED cob, I was able to provide plenty of light directly to the nozzle of the printer. It can shift from the left/right/center, and rotate at the LED mount. It doesn't move at all during printing, it's very stable with just the single pivot arm. _________________________________________________________________________ You only need a few nuts/bolts. Exact list coming soon. A couple 2mm bolts for mounting the LED, and a couple 3mm bolts for the pivoting parts. You may also need 2 longer 3mm bolts to mount the main part to the fan housing. _________________________________________________________________________ It's a little bulky, and I want to try other mounting methods. The LED Mount is so small I had a hard time working in the wire guides, so I want to remake the part all together. _________________________________________________________________________ I bought this LED specifically because it was 21-24v range. I used the spare connections on the PSU, and ran wire to a cheap 3-35v DC PWM. Then I hooked up a .5a fuse on the output, and ran that to the LED. The PWM works perfectly at dimming the LED, and the PLA mount isn't melting in the slightest. I only run the LED at very low power, so it only gets warm. It could certainly melt the PLA at max power, though the LED would need a heatsink to even run at that power.
