Freewing F-22 Nose Gear Brace
Description
This is a nose gear brace I created to support the strut on my Freewing 90mm F-22. Print it with the flat side on the bed. I did 15% fill and it seems to be sturdy enough. When I installed it, I put hot glue on the flanged edges of the plate and on the bottom and installed it onto the foam shelf at the back of the nose gear bay. Make sure the flanged sides go all the way up against the walls of the bay. The starboard side of the plate is NOT glued to the wall. See the image showing the red marks. These marks indicate where I glued the plate to the plane.
