RigidBot Limit Switch Holder
Description
Adaptation of ~~JP1's~~ __ReliaBuild3D's__ (thanks for the relaxed license!) limit switch holder, designed to be mounted onto the X carriage so as to tap into the breakout board rather than running a long wire down the stepper (though that is an option as well). My alterations allow different extruder mounts to work (e.g. E3D V6) without the need to adapt the design to allow for it. --- ### Changes - Slimmed the motor side up to the edge of the M3 bolt heads - Both countersinks for the M3 bolt heads are now U shaped - prevents extra garbage slicer processing around the O and saves plastic to boot --- ### Outstanding issues - I may want a model that can accept heated inserts on the limit switch for ultimate reliability, although I will need to shim that away from the bottom a bit due to the metal involved. The extruder carriage bolts are through-hole. --- ### Recommendations - PLA *might* melt a bit, I printed this with PETG however which can withstand much hotter temperatures. You can technically print this with PLA/PHA though too. --- ### Changelog **2019-03-10** - Initial Upload
