Suzuki GSX-R600 (& others) fuel tank pump blanking plate/flange
Description
This is a blanking plate for a K1 (2000-2001) Suzuki GSX-R600 fuel tank, which you'll find very useful if you want to de-rust your fuel tank. It mounts in place of the fuel pump assembly, to block the bottom of the fuel tank while you soak it in rust removers. I printed mine with a 0.8mm nozzle, 0.3mm layer height, with 7 solid bottom layers (surface touching the seal), 5 solid top layers, 30% infill from natural ABS. It was in contact with sodium carbonate & water for 2 days while electrolysis-ing, 5% acidity vinegar for 3 days in various positions, Hammerite rust remover for another couple of days, and finally experienced some Por-15 dribbles and vapours for 2 days. It didn't deform or leak at all! The rusty dribble in the pic is from stagnant water on the outside of the seal, it's not a leak. It's a more tricky part to design than I realised, because the holes aren't spaced evenly - they are this way to fit the fuel pump in 1 orientation only, so the fuel line aligns with the injector rail when it's on the bike. The arrow points toward the front(ish) of the bike. The holes have about .5mm wiggle room to account for shrinkage. the hardware is 5 of M6x20mm. I imagine it would probably fit other Suzuki bikes too (750/1000 k1&k2 almost definitely), try for yourself.
