Berd Air Type Tube Mount/Jig For Smart Effector/ E3D V6 & Mosquito Hotends

Berd Air Type Tube Mount/Jig For Smart Effector/ E3D V6 & Mosquito Hotends

Description

***Disclaimer:*** **This design might need some adjustments and I will update the design if changes are made, but as of now it seems to be correct.** Plenty of jigs out there that help form a good circle and to drill the holes but I always have problems getting the bends at the correct angles for my configuration. It took me about 8 different prints to get the design where it's at now. If you have a Duet Smart Effector with a Slice Engineering's Mosquito hotend attached or E3D's V6 and want to use a 'Berd-Air' type of layer cooling solution. Then this might work for you too. I had the Berd-Air 24v kit, my pump broke (not the motor, the motor does spark a lot) after about 8 months of use and I looked into brushless motors with an air pump. I found one and works great. I usually have it at 25% power. I listed below if you want to go that way. In this design are the ***pipe mount for E3D V6*** ***pipe mount for Slice Engineering's Mosquito*** ***pipe form jig*** ***drilling hole jig*** ***Bending jig*** A remix of "ShadowX" Berd Air Tube Bender Fixture (Inside Diameter: 12mm) **BOM:** 1 M3 nut for the 'Drilling Hole Jig' 1 M3 x 10mm bolt for the 'Drilling Hole Jig' K&S Engineering 8101 Round Aluminum Tube 3/32" X .014" X 12" (My local hardware store carries 3/32" x 3' long aluminum tubes for under $3).
