Housing for ILI9341 2.8" and Wemos D1 mini
Description
This housing is designed to hold an ILI9341 display 2.8" and a Wemos D1 mini. For my need i also use a temperature and humidity sensor DHT22. It's form was inspired by [2.4" & 2.8" TFT Desktop stand](https://www.thingiverse.com/thing:2172068). For the assembly you will also need: - 8 x m2 8mm countersunk screws - 4 x m2 6mm lens head screws - 12 x m2 3mmx3.2mm press nuts. I used screws and press nuts because I wanted to use the (resistive) touch function of the display and I didn't want it to get pressed in the housing after some time of usage. By using the press nuts the whole thing is more tight and it can be opened and closed again without destroying the holes. With the combination of an ILI9341 display and a Wemos D1 mini there are so many projects that can get implemented. In my case I use it as: - a smart switch (the orange one) with timer functionality for my motorized roof dome which is connected per MQTT to my [FHEM installation](https://www.fhem.de/). - a weather station/monitor (the black one) which gets the data for the current weather and forecasts from [OpenWeatherMap](https://openweathermap.org/). The date/time of the displayed clocks are updated through the internet. Both applications use also the touch functionality of the ILI9341 display. Schematics for the connections between the display and the Wemos will be included in the future. For now, if interested, you can search for ILI9341 in [instructables](https://www.instructables.com/howto/ili9341/). I will be happy to read your comments! Have fun!
