1 Gallon Carboy Stopper Lock
Description
My standard 1 gallon Carboy had a nasty habit of pushing the rubber stopper out during long or very aggressive brewing cycles. This print was quickly designed to stop this from happening. The lock slides on/off the carboy at anytime and allows enough spacing for both a blow-out line and a standard air-lock to be attached. As the lock never touches your brew, sanitation is not required (though always recommended). The print has been oriented for the strongest print. Unfortunately, this orientation requires the most supports. Based on the forces being applied to the lock, the orientation makes the greatest stresses parallel to the print lines, affording the greatest strength. Those forces that cannot be oriented to remove them, are oriented so the strongest parts of the print will be acting against them.
