Lets Split and Levinson Keeb.io case middle layer
Description
I built a Lets Split Eh a while back, and part of my build was Keeb.io's aluminum lets split case, which i got along with an acrylic middle layer. Over time the look is less and less good. There have been frosted acrylic layers before that look plain awesome while taking out that glare, so I thought to recreate this look with a PLA shell in the same shape. And in my print selected an infill pattern and density that can provide a neat pattern as well. Recreating the acrylic piece from the original build also allowed me to address a couple of issues with the design of the original product. Firstly the cut out around the I/O better accommodates the shape of the PCB itself. The original acrylic not fitting past the edge near the USB C port and had to be modified to fit. More room was given in this design and should fit any Lets Split The second problem was the original case and layer came with 12mm brass stand offs to allow the promicro of a standard Lets Split. The acrylic of the original middle layer was in two pieces one thick piece measuring 9.5 mm, and another 2.0 mm This leaves 0.5 mm of the standoffs extending past, as well as a refractive line where the two meet.
