Magnetic Key Organizer
Description
I liked the idea of some of the other key holders available on this site, but none of them were quite what I was looking for. I designed this key holder and magnetic dock from the ground up. It uses M3 screws and nuts to hold everything together, and neodymium magnets to attach to the dock. The dock sticks to the wall with a large-sized command strip (5lbs works well). What you need: 1. print the parts (duh) 2. magnets: (8x) 6mm x 3mm neodymium magnets https://www.ebay.com/itm/30Pcs-6x3mm-N52-Super-Strong-Disc-Blocks-Rare-Earth-Neodymium-Magnets-high/332966322368?hash=item4d8656e0c0:g:mjkAAOSwIUVcGztr 3. Screws: (3x) M3 socket head caps crew (available at most hardware stores) 4. 3M command strip (also at most hardware stores) 5. Fast setting super glue Notes: 1. All of the magnets must be arranged properly to attract before they are glued in place. Put them in all facing the same direction 2. Glue them in ONE at a time. They may try to flip as they repel each other, so doing one at a time with glue that hardens in a minute is easiest.
