DJI F550 Battery Box
Description
Upgrading the battery to 2 x Floureon 4 cell 4500mAh to give 9000mAh 14.8V and 90C. Should improve flight time. Wanted a efficient way to secure them to the frame with ability to slide a bit for good COG. Having printed new long legs the print is clearly strong enough. Printed as 3 parts glued together to ensure print grain is max strength. Box on my printer with supports 30% fill PLA. Final design removed some of the weight reduction holes and beefed up the corners. Original print over complex and not strong enough, battery is 1kg and expect 20g on heavy landing.
