USBasp Dongle Cover
Description
One piece case for USBasp board (the black one). My case has the holes for LEDs and uses pieces of clear filament as light transmitters. There is also cutout for the 5V/3V3 switch. When the board is in case it can be set with help of a toothpick. I got the board from here: https://www.ebay.com/itm/381374691905 Print it in vertical position, the cutout for USB connector side placed on bed. Use like 20 perimeters, 0.2 quality preset. Infill does not matter. Clean the LED light holes with 1.7 mm drill and stick some natural colour 1.7 mm filament in them. Cut them flush. No need to use glue. It should be tight fit. Put the dongle in the box USB connector first and push it all the way. No need to glue it either. I also reflashed the USBasp board with the 1.06 firmware before I put it in the case. If you want to reflash it you need to temporarily bridge those two terminals on the bottom of the board under the MCU. https://www.instructables.com/id/How-to-Update-the-Firmware-on-a-Cheap-USBasp-Clone/ The latest (alpha) firmware is here: https://github.com/bperrybap/usbasp/tree/1.06-alpha/bin/firmware Latest "official" firmware from Thomas Fischl is here: https://fischl.de/usbasp/ Enjoy!
