Lizard95 - Runcam Micro Mount With Dustcover
Description
The source is made by Mike-vom-Mars. There you will find a wirering-diagram as well, which I found very helpful. His design is great, but doesn´t protect the cam enough. So I made a new mount. After printing the first version in PETG and breaking it on one of the first flights, I made the next design a bit more sturdy and printed it in ABS. With the new cam you get a lot more contrast and it´s easier to see where you are going. https://youtu.be/nbOBvimv_TU The part printed in ABS survived even a hard crash when hitting the trunk of a smaller tree. A an carbon-arm cracked within this crash but the mount is still in use.I must have hit the trunk first right in the middle because the lens of the cam broke out of the thread. Luckily I could buy a spare part - now 2,1 mm: https://youtu.be/rFKBfVaIz9I Print it with 0.1 layers and 100% infill and support. I added a dust cover for the front, that gives additional stability.
