Steel Spring Glass Hotbed Corner Clip for Anet A8 or A6
Description
I recently got a glass hotbed plate for my Anet A6 and have been using Exsilium's excellent "adjustable" corner clip set (which is remixed from an original idea by thfo) and it works great, EXCEPT, with the material I have printed it in (3D Solutech PLA), with the large volume of printing I have been doing, the repeated/prolonged exposure to the heat of the hotbed has caused the spring corner to loose it's spring, allowing the glass to become looser and looser. I like the no-screw tension fit design, but replacing a worn out spring corner requires re-leveling the bed and I hate doing that, so I modified the design to use a strip of spring-steel cut from a commonly available sliding-door roller unit with ~0.7mm thickness spring. it's a quick print, and a then a few minutes with a rotary-tool and a cut-off wheel yields a strong corner spring that will not quickly deform when exposed to bed heat over and over again!
