Curling iron holder outlet cover
Description
This was designed to hold the Vivid and Vogue Auto winding curling iron, as shown in the picture. I borrowed the outlet cover from this link: https://www.thingiverse.com/thing:246532 It's just a great printing model. The holder ring is 58mm inside diameter with a 38mm opening. This was a quick and kind of sloppy job and isn't perfect, although most people looking at it on the wall will never notice any imperfections. By imperfect, I just mean that when adding shapes to the outlet cover to form the ring, some of them might protrude through the underside of the cover just a hair. I didn't worry about cleaning them up because they were minor. It seems to be plenty strong with 20% infill but if I were to do it again, Id probably increase infill. It can seem a bit floppy with just a single screw holding it to the outlet but its held up so far! Lay the cover down flat on its back and use supports to print. The kids' bathroom is so small and this really helped save space.
