24 Cell 18650 DIY USB Powerbank
Description
I have tons of USB power banks around, but even my largest, a 20,000mah pack died after a few days away camping. I wanted something that would last MUCH longer. Following some online guides of how to DIY such a power bank was easy enough to do, this is the case for such a project. It contains all the holes needed for a on/off button, a charger port, a LCD battery level indicator and 4x USB ports. All those additional items the case is designed around are linked below. To actually build the power banks electronics, I used this guide https://www.instructables.com/id/DIY-Professional-18650-Battery-Pack/ 15/04/19 - Added in two different lid designs with so,me vent holes in. The power bank doesn't really get hot, but the vents save on plastic and add some aesthetic element to it i guess. 08/10/19 - I have designed an alternate version to this, https://www.thingiverse.com/thing:3858748 which is compatible with the Vruzend battery connection system, allowing people without spot welders to assemble their own packs!
