Poor Man Z Probe

Poor Man Z Probe

Description

And this is my "Poor man Z Probe"
I start this as a joke and surprised of precision archived with very simple materials . File "Body1" is for Anycubic kossel printer File "Body2" come with 2 holes so you can adapt
Pay attention : I'm not responsible if you crash your printer with this device. I recommend to try correct working with multimeter at first and sending M119 command to to your printer in after. Another important thing is this device working with normally close contact so when the probe touch the bed circuit will be open, configure your printer firmware to manage this.
This is a very simple design to make a z probe. All you need is :

2 - M3 screw L=20 mm

3 - M3 nuts

200mm -Some rigid wire

1 - Pen compression spring (to be cut to obtain the right compression force)

And some patience to assemble all things. Once checked correct working and tuned the right Z-offset it works well forever . See probe in action. In my printer I archived a good precision near 0.1 mm (also my printer precision)
