606168 Lithium Pack Holder
Description
A simple (but long print time) case I designed to hold 68x61x6mm 606168 Lithium Polymer battery packs. These are common 3.7v high capacity battery cells that are often found in things like laptop batteries (notably Macbooks) or other high drain devices. They have bare tabs which can be shorted accidentally, and due to their high capacity and the unfortunate tendency lithium has to combust in air, storing them can be a dangerous proposition. This unit will allow 8 cells to be stored safely. With the mounting tabs pointing any direction except up, they are protected from accidental shorting, and the lid bracket snaps in place to secure the cells in the event that the box is knocked over.
