NeoPixel 16X LED Ring Capacitive Touch Button
Description
This is a panel mounted housing for the NeoPixel 16 LED ring, with a recess for a capacitive touch sensor in the centre, so no actual contact is necessary to activate it, just proximity. It can be used as a power button, or anything else you want to use it for. The capacitive touch sensors can be set up as momentary or latching, with high and low output. https://youtu.be/oIrlTRqjebk I've included a housing with "START" and a blank one. I bought the capacitive sensors here: https://www.banggood.com/3pcs-TTP223B-Digital-Touch-Sensor-Capacitive-Touch-Switch-Module-For-Arduino-p-1162256.html?rp=XJ20192847090201510D&custlinkid=218294&cur_warehouse=CN And the NeoPixel rings here: https://www.banggood.com/Ring-5V-16x-5050-RGB-LED-with-Integrated-Drivers-Module-For-Arduino-p-1199159.html?p=XJ20192847090201510D&custlinkid=218294&cur_warehouse=CN I'm actually going to be using it to power up and change the modes of an automatic ball launcher for my dog, but I'm sure it could have a million uses. I uploaded a gif of it working but it doesn't seem to want to play without viewing the original file. Ah well.
