Remix - Reinforced Diamondback Scout

** Updated 6/1/2019 - added pictures (finally) of my own print with my (mediocre) paint job. See my build of the original model for my alternate build. --------------- I am a bit tired of models being ripped from games and then not being repaired. If you print the ship files this remix is based on, very small, it should fuse together and seem okay. If you print it larger (in my case 425%) you get a lot of pieces (6+) because the model is from a video game, where things don't have to connect. In this remix, I embedded some simple cubes between disconnected objects to hold them together. I tried to keep them quite subtle so they don't interfere visually. I have included my 3MF files so you can see how I added the parts, move them around and even add your own. (In this case, I was using Microsoft 3D Builder) My print came out quite strong. Just need to glue it up and repair the seam lines. ** Warning: one of the wings, the front portion of the slice, like to curl up slightly during the print. I did not want to go messing around with the model for that. It really is a problem at print time and not the model. So be prepared to have to make a bit of body work / putty repairs on it. It is worth it. ------------- I really do like how this model feels when assembled. Slightly heavier than my build of the original model, and a little more sturdy. Maybe that is just me.
