Filament Sensor with PTFE tube 1,75mm
Description
I wanted a filament sensor but didn't like the ones i found, they were to complicated. This is a Filament Sensor that uses the makerbot micro switch board and a piece of PTFE tube to guide the filament. it could be mounted to the printer but i found that just hanging it off the cable was enough and got me some flexibility. To install, just insert a ptfe tube, cut the part that's exposed by the print and then install the micro switch board. The filament should glide effortlessly through the sensor. Use two M3 screws (or something that fits) to mount the board. You might need to use a 3mm drill to get the ptfe tube to fit, depending on your print settings
