Adapters for Wide USB SD/MicroSD holder

Adapters for Wide USB SD/MicroSD holder

Description

A set of adapters allowing you to use a part you printed a while ago, with newer tech. A set of shims for the excellent [USB SD and MicroSD holder for wide USB sticks by Lalo_Solo](https://www.thingiverse.com/thing:2637487) that converts the USB A cutout into a USB C cutout or slim USB A cutout. These parts are super small and their awkward geometries don’t leave you with a ton of good options for print orientation. Additionally, the application necessitates a rather accurate shape and very tight clearance. I had pretty good luck printing these out with the`.1mm DETAIL` profile in Slic3r Prusa Edition on my MK3s. The infill setting was 15% but I don’t think that really matters much at this size. For the first several layers, I reduced the speed to about 30% of typical using manual speed scaler so I could “speed it back up” after I was confident that the base layers really had stuck down. Each part took about 40min to print (I wasn’t kidding when I said I went SLOW on the print) They are modeled in Fusion360 with tolerances / clearances tighter than I would typically use, but they are designed to press-fit into the USB Organizer and stay there. You can easily press them back out through the hole on the bottom of the Organizer if you need to remove the shim. The pictures should make it pretty clear how to insert the finished parts. I guess you could glue them in if you needed.
