Bowden or brake hydraulic hose guide for bikes

Bowden or brake hydraulic hose guide for bikes

Description

After the self-assembly of a light system (Supernova) on my Haibike 2016 Hardnine there was the problem that one of the Bowden cables or brake hydraulic hoses was constantly hanging in the cone of light of the headlight and additionally fluttered during the ride, which proved to be very annoying in the cone of front light. Therefore I designed this Bowden guide, which keeps the cables in question in check without influencing the mobility within steering movements. Perhaps one or the other here feels inspired by this solution. Since the cable routing on different bikes will also be different, one must certainly make adjustments for one's own case (I added 2 Version with slightly changed guide for the right brake handle). The guides are suitable for a 4mm Bowden cable (right hand) as well as for the 5mm hydraulic lines of the right and left brake handles. See pictures of the part on my bike. The cables are clipped into the guide (if necessary with careful support by pliers) and hold very well without further fastening.
