Nova Lathe Chuck 85mm Soft Jaws
Description
This is a jaw attachment that will fit any 4-jaw Nova lathe chuck. Inner diameter with 4 jaws mounted on chuck is 65mm - 86mm, outer diameter 85mm - 106mm. As a plastic jaw, it is not strong enough to rough turn heavy stock. I made this soft jaw to spin projects for sanding and finishing. It's a variation on BobbB's Nova Soft Jaws posted Oct 22, 2017. Thanks to BobbB getting an accurate mount template, I could skip that step and just refine the diameter to fit larger pieces.
