FT Mini Firewall for Racing Quad Motors
Description
I needed firewalls for some racing quad motors that I wanted to use for FT Mighty Mini planes. However, due to the stiffness of the power wires for these motors, the normal "cross" mounting orientation with the corner cutout for the wires would not work. So, I created my own featuring the cutout in the middle, with the mounting holes rotated into an X orientation. I also enlarged the cutout to be 8mm wide to give enough room for the thicker power wires. My particular model has 16 x 16mm mounting holes, using typical M3 sized screws. I made this one 3mm thick, though if your motor only has screws for 4mm frames you will need to make the firewall thicker or use washers.
