Case for Adafruit Animated Eyes Bonnet for Raspberry Pi W/ PIR
Description
UPDATED 4-26-19 OK, This is the last and final version of the case. We were playing with the HC-501 and getting betters results than with the HC-SR04 or the US-100. So a new version of the case was necessary. The HC-501 press fits into the case. If you want to upgrade one of the earlier case, print one of the tracked covers listed at the end of this article and our stand alone HC-SR501 (https://www.thingiverse.com/thing:3552032) mount to upgrade the system. Unfortunatly, the HC-SR501 requires level sifters. The sixth generation of the case for Adafruit's Animated Eyes Bonnet for Raspberry Pi provides for an interchangeable solution to protect the TFT's. The provided example cover works with any 40MM round cover. This includes AdaFruit's glass lens (https://www.adafruit.com/product/3853) and plastic lens (https://www.adafruit.com/product/3917.) It is a good idea to mask the TFT with tape or dark construction paper to prevent light leakage around the edges. The original design that used the HC-SRO4 can be found at: https://www.thingiverse.com/thing:3177147 The design for using the US-100 can be found at: https://www.thingiverse.com/thing:3287084 Light blocking covers for the case can be found at: Blank cover https://www.thingiverse.com/thing:3552052 Single track https://www.thingiverse.com/thing:3552054 Duel track https://www.thingiverse.com/thing:3552060 Single track center line https://www.thingiverse.com/thing:3578016 Speaker Cover https://www.thingiverse.com/thing:3612211
