Lid Spacer with Spool Holder for Flashforge Inventor 3D Printer (Remix)
Description
This is a lid spacer with external spool holders designed to interface with the Flashforge Inventor 3D printer. It may also work with the Flashforge Dreamer and the Dremel Idea Builder. In order to complete this project, you will require approximately 1.2 kg of ABS filament (more than 1 spool), 5/8 inch round wood dowel, a piece of PFTE filament tube (3mm inner diameter, 4 mm outer diameter), and your choice of the following to attach the parts together: - Qty 30 metric M3 x 0.5 x 12 mm socket head cap screws (or similar fasteners close in length) with matched nuts; - Acetone if printing in ABS or chemically compatible glue; or - 10 appropriate size binder clips. The lid spacer, once assembled, can rest on the top of the 3D printer and allow for the 3D printer lid to be raised by 10 cm. It is not intended to be glued to the 3D printer. The spool holders support different spool sizes and allow for individual spool replacement. The lid spacer also features a recycling triangle with resin identification code 7 (other) and the letters ABS to enable eventual recycling of each part (if printed using ABS).
