Cyberpunk Katana / Weapon hanger
Description
IMPORTANT! Please Read! Recently, Prusa 3D (via David Warboss) built a Cyberpunk-themed 3D printer. they used many of, and neglected to Attribute those elements of, this design to me. Furthermore, it appears two elements in said design in their redistribution (fan-cover-middle.stl and samurai-logo-extruder-vizualizer.stl) are remixed versions of element here, but they changed the license to be contrary to the respective elements of this work. I am honestly pretty disturbed by this. Therefore, I am considering the removal of this design due to this abuse. Prusa never contacted me, they never asked for an exception to the license, and they didn't even attribute this design. While I am not considering legal action, as it would be futile. if, or when, this design is removed from here, you can blame Prusa. I'm hoping they can give the attribution due for the work in question, and either conform to the terms of the original license regarding the two disputed .stl files, remove them from their redistribution, or provide clear proof they were not remixed from my work. EDIT: It appears the Fan shroud used was this one: https://www.thingiverse.com/thing:3386552 but is remixed from another object by by DiPT: https://www.thingiverse.com/thing:2956265 but while attribution was given to him by Cobalt_3D for that item's remix, it was also under a non-commercial license originally, and Cobalt made it CC-Attribution instead. The source of the samurai-logo-extruder-vizualizer.stl is still under investigation in this regard. In the example they put in their youtube video ( https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=vz4DDZhTpWw) , every center graphic for this katanakake was used, including the Pill logo, which isn't even part of the Cyberpunk 2077 iconography; this is how I KNOW they used elements from this design. If a representative from Prusa is reading this, I request the following: *Proper attribution to this Thing, with a link on the video, and their documentation in their distribution for the project files. *An apology in the comments of this thing for neglecting to attribute. After that; I'm willing to forgive the change of license for their specific redistribution in this instance. Thanks for reading... Back to our previous transmission... Update: As requested by Buurmannetje, I have added blank artwork panels to add your own artwork to your finished racks. The files named "Art_Blank_Left", "Art_Blank_Center" and "Art_Blank_Right" will correspond to their appropriate positions on the finished back part. Add your own designs to the panels using whichever method works best for you. create STLs from an SVG of your artwork, and using Tinkercad, or whatever program you feel comfortable with, you can add your artwork to the panels. You can also just use the blank Left and Right panels to fill the gaps and align your center artwork panel if you want a cleaner look.
