Q.F.C. Board mount
Description
The quick fit carriage is just great , but the cable and the board are just not supported! This is my solution , the Part A will mount to the back plate , and when the plate is fixed to the carriage you can screw the part B to the A THIS SOLUTION WILL BLOCK THE " QUICK " REMOVAL OF THE BACK PLATE but in my opinion , you don't need to move it that often and 2 screws are easy enough to remove . the front plate is totally unobstructed but the hotend cables may need to be increased in length to fit the Part B to the Part A you need m3x10mm ( a little shorter will work too ) m3x8mm ( a little shorter will work too ) this version will use 3 holes in the back plate if space is a problem I can remake it with just the top 2 the notches are used to secure cable ties , I will tie first the cable alone , clamping the black tube with the cables and than i will use the protruding part of the cable tie to secure the others to the parts A and B
