Description
At Mount Pleasant Cemetery, One Of The Oldest Cemeteries In Sioux Falls, South Dakota, Stands This Poignant Grave Marker In Honor Of A Young Woman Who Died Too Soon. There Is Religious Symbolism With The Display Of A Rose, A Palm Frond And Sunflower(?) In A Frame Near The Top Of The Stone. It Is Somewhat Worn After Over A Century Of Exposure To The Harsh Freeze And Thaw Cycles Of The Seasons Here In South Dakota But It Is Legible.
