Car Cigarette Lighter Replacer (USB Charger)
Description
This is a simple part to replace the 12-volt outlet for a USB charger. This is to have it more permanently mounted in the car without the need for an adapter. I have included pictures with measurements of the specific USB charger board. The part is designed so the board slides in from the back with wires soldered to the board. The little square part is designed to slide in after and secure the board. To do this you need a grub screw. The hole for the grub screw is 3 mm and 7.5 mm deep. If anyone has requests for some small changes, let me know. *Update 26th-August-2019* Added a dual USB version with same measurements as the single USB version. For the dual, you will need 2x Backstop and 2x 3mm grubscrews. The grubscrew hole is 3 mm deep, alternatively you can glue the backstop in place.
