Pudgy Tank - Tanks for the Memories!
Description
This is a toy tank that I designed for my son and modeled it in Fusion 360. Its pudgy and fat, with "Tanks for the Memories!" modeled into the body. The only two pieces that will need to print with supports are the body and the Gatling gun. Everything else can lay flat or print upright. The star symbols are designed that you can print them two color by printing just the first 1-2 layers in one color, then switching filaments. The bullet can fit into the barrel by itself, or with the smoke trail attached. I really wanted to design some other accessories, weapons, and symbols. But I have run out of time for now. Hopefully someone else can make some variations for it! The tracks should be printed in TPU ( I used Sainsmart semiflex, and it works OK. Its a bit stiff, and is hard to get the tracks to move on slick surfaces. A more rubbery flex might be better) To assemble you will need 7 screws. One for the turret and 6 for the wheels. You may need to slightly drill out the holes depending on your printer tolerance. The barrel is two position, (locked up or flat).
