Pi-Gamer

Description

Raspberry pi based hand help gaming case. Raspberry pi 3.5" hdmi screen powerboost1000c 2x 18650 batteries The goal of this design was to attach all of the circuits and batteries and the raspberry pi to the main/ center body. This would allow exchangeable face plates and easy access to all the components. This is still a bit of a rough draft though and will need a few tweaks yet but i will update this as i work through the first build. **update** Starting to assemble things a bit and found that the HDMI bridge cannot be inserted properly so part of the battery bridge had to be cut away. I will update the files once the build is complete. **Update #2** Need to add location for power switch and audio circuit. Pi3 and the powerboost1000c do not play so well together. Had to add two lines to the config file to disable the WIFI and Bluetooth to save power. Seems to play reasonable well after that with very few low power warnings once the pi is booted up. I've read that you can also disable the "eth0" port for a few more miliamp savings though I have yet to do it. I would like to explore a way to turn the wifi back on if needed though i could still use a usb WIFI dongle to work through that for now. I'm not a huge fan of the screen I bought but its usable. I would shoot for an IPS screen next time instead of the TFT screen. I still need to work out the audio functions as well, the HDMI screen seems to want to take the audio so the connections to the main board are not outputting a signal. I think this can be handled on the software side but if need be i can pull a signal from the screen. More updates to come...
