***This is a personal project. Hand fitting of the Nikon t adapter and the pi cam v2 may be required. *** Items used in this project were a 5” tft touchscreen that connects through the hdmi port. A battery pack from Walmart. Raspberry pi 3 b+. Pi cam v2. Nikon t adapter for telescope attachment. 4 m3 bolts. A reflector telescope with a 254mm primary and a focal length of 1250mm. The Nikon t adapter allows use of any 1.25” plossel and any 1.25” filter. When I have time, I’ll try to post links for everything. I included mounting holes to secure the pi cam with four bolts, but press fitting worked for me. If you want to secure it, the option is there. 50% infill is what I used. Any less and it becomes rather flimsy. Files were printed as they appear in the file preview. The case uses a lot of supports, but It was the only orientation I was happy with. Also, I deleted supports for the stylus slot in Cura. You may want to consider doing that as well. I have included the STEP files in case you need to make changes to better suit your parts. It's not a DSLR replacement by any means, but it is better than using an iphone. And by using image stacking, long exposure times, or timelapse photography you can get some decent images with this setup. Besides, it was fun to make and kept me occupied for a couple days.
