Glasses Nose Pad
Description
Decided to crack open the as yet unused 0.2mm nozzle for this one. Printed at 0.4mm layer height with all walls (no. of walls set to 40 or so in Cura). Found printing faster was better for me so just maxed out the print speed and had 5 or 6 of these in a few minutes. Played about with the feedrate as I like to get as much material down as I can with the clear stuff to reduce opacity but on something this small printing at this speed I couldn't tell the difference between 90% and 115%. If you print too slow the lingering head will keep the last part, with the hole in it, too hot and it will deform. Reducing layer time is no good here for the same reason and lift head in Cura to wait to the side for some period also just makes a stringing issue of a mess (for me at least) so getting it to just get on with it before it has a chance to deform seems to work. Might also work in TPU or similar flex but I've only got black and didn't want that on my face. Probably not as strong as the originals but easily replaceable and really quick to print. Remixed from as the original was a bit chunky for my liking.
