Celestron C8 to 8x50 GSO Finder blocks
Description
I was unable to prevent diferential flexure with a 3D printed finder bracket nor with an Agena metal bracket. This is likely due to the fact that the large autoguider is attached at a very small footprint on a quick release bracket. I decided the best way to move forward was to move forward -- literally. The SCT becomes VERY back heavy during imaging, and I ran out of dovetail space as well. This solves both problems, the mass can be shifted more towards the front of the scope and the blocks should provide a very sturdy solution for the guider. I used 6 or so velcro zipties to attach the scope but you might have better luck with steel bands or a small ratchet strap (easy now on that tension!). I also hit all surfaces with rubber spray paint to give it a nice grip (specifically Rust-Oleum LeakSeal which is my goto for this type of application)
